Darwin is set to come alive with the Darwin Festival running from 5-22 August.
The festival brings locals and visitors together with an eclectic mix of art, music and culture from right around the country.

CABARET - Reuben Kaye
Reuben Kaye has been described as everything a cabaret should be. Expect an intoxicating mix of comedy, cabaret and obscenity as Reuben takes to the stage with his vivacious and high camp humour.

The Butch is Back will take you on an emotional journey of tears and laugher. Buckle in and maybe leave the kids at home for this one.
COMEDY - Amy Hetherington
Darwin’s very own comedy phenomenon Amy Hetherington is gracing the festival with her brand new show Baby Shower.
Heavily pregnant Amy delves into all things pregnancy in an hour of hilarious oversharing about the highs and lows of cooking a baby.
This show is for everyone - new parents, future parents and never-would-I-ever parents.
CIRCUS - The Pulse
Adelaide born circus powerhouse, Gravity & Other Myths, brings together 30 acrobats and 30 choir members for a gravity-defying performance of colossal scale. The show pushes the boundaries of contemporary circus through unified displays of strength, agility and emotion.

MUSIC - NIMAs
The National Indigenous Music Awards (NIMAs) are Australia’s biggest celebration of Indigenous music. The awards recognise excellence, innovation and leadership among Indigenous musicians from all corners of the country at the iconic Darwin Amphitheatre.
The line up this year features Baker Boy, Miiesha, Electric Fields, King Stingray, Dallas Woods and Kee’ahn, Alice Skye and more. Get an incredible insight into the future of Indigenous music past, present and emerging.
FASHION - Country to Couture
The iconic
Country to Couture celebrates Indigenous fashion and textiles in a powerful runway show hosted at the Darwin Convention Centre. The show highlights the contemporary avenues of cultural storytelling and showcases innovative collaborations between Indigneous artists and Australian labels.
